We are starting a new group for local crafters and artists who sell their handmade wares - like a free support group, with cake :) We shall be holding it at High Spen Community Arts space - if you are interested in sharing skills, tips and general crafty chinwagging, drop us a line!

Rent-a-Cube Scheme
Our craft cube scheme offers you the opportunity to sell your hand made items in a real, bricks-and-mortar shop. Online selling is great - we do it too - but a lovely display in a real shop can be a satisfying and lucrative experience, and will bring your items to the notice of people who aren’t online - or are reluctant to shop in this way.
For £5 a week, you get your own dedicated cube (about a square foot) individually lit with its own lamp. We'll ask you for information about your company for your display and even help you to write your copy if you like, to make your work stand out from the crowd. At Celebrate the Seasons we emphasise the personal and people's own stories. So we will also ask you for a short bio about yourself as a crafter. Included in your fee is the opportunity to have selected items featured in our online shop, with a link to your website/face book page. You also get a free entry in the Craft Directory for customers, and 10% discount on all our craft courses.
Your sales are all commission free so all monies from the items you sell are yours to keep. We’ll pay you monthly via Paypal, and give you a monthly update of your stock levels so you know what is selling well!
Terms: 1 month minimum booking, paid monthly in advance. Paypal or cash is accepted.

Book 12 months and on top of your free week, 10% discount on craft fair bookings and priority booking for special events, you get a free Celebrate the Seasons voucher for courses, worth £20!
We pride ourselves on the celebration of the passing seasons - hence the name! So if you have a particular speciality for Halloween, Yuletide or even Chinese New Year you may find your items featured in our beautiful window displays at no extra charge. Don’t worry - we’ll take photos which you can use on your own website/publicity.
If you are a local crafter, you’re welcome to come in and set up your cube however you please. From further a field? No problem! Our clever little shop elf Nora will create a lovely display and send you a picture.
Don’t forget we’ll be having special Christmas shopping evenings with festive snacks and drinks which you’re welcome to attend, so you can talk to people about your beautiful handmade items.
Indoor Craft Fairs
Forget freezing winds and driving rain! On the second saturday of each month we are holding an indoor craft fair. All fairs run from 11am to 6 pm and you can set up from 10 am.
What do we provide?
For your £15, you get a warm well lit room (no rain or wind guaranteed!) a sturdy 4 foot table (tested up to 300kg) and 2 chairs per pitch. Electricity points are available if required. We provide a kettle for you make your own tea or coffee (supplied) and free biscuits! We also have the prettiest toilets you could ask for (choose from Celestial or Steampunk!) with lovely toiletries on tap! You can unload directly from outside and then move your car to on street parking. Can you tell we are veterans of craft fairs ourselves?
All exhibitors can enter their business cards into a free draw each fair to win a course voucher for Celebrate the Seasons. Your cards and leaflets can also be displayed throughout the month in the shop. You also have the opportunity to sign up for special seasonal and themed fairs - for example in December we’ll be holding special storytelling events with our very own Yule fairies!
Customers get free entry to our fairs so their pockets are still jingling when they get to your stall. Each fair features a craft demontstration by Celebrate the Seasons which is a good customer draw. We’ll also be holding wedding fairs seasonally; a choctastic Easter Fair, an old-fashioned Summer fete, a foodie Harvest Festival and a Halloween Happening amongst others. We’ll also have special Christmas shopping evenings complete with festive music, mince pies and Yule fairies. What are you waiting for?!
